Adolescence is a tough time to navigate for not only the adolescent but the parents as well. I enjoy working with teens and have been successful establishing a rapport with many different teenagers presenting with a variety of issues. My approach allows them to have a safe place to openly discuss their concerns and help them figure out next steps that will work best for them.
My extensive experience working within the public school setting has provided me an expertise in
school refusal and avoidance as well as working with overall adjustment difficulties adolescents experience going to school today. The demands are different for today's student, and I have a unique understanding from being a part of the educational world from both private and public school settings.
